Eligibility & Placement Guidelines

    Before You Request a Placement

Authorized user placements are structured financial reporting arrangements and are not suitable for every situation. If you're new to tradelines, start by learning what tradelines are and how AU tradelines work. You should also review whether tradelines are legal before proceeding. Please review the guidelines below carefully to determine whether this marketplace is appropriate for your specific objectives and timeline.

Step 1: Pull Your Own Credit Reports (Required)

You are responsible for reviewing your own credit reports before purchase.

Request your reports directly from the official source:

AnnualCreditReport.com (the only federally authorized site)

Pull reports from all three bureaus:

    • • Experian
    • • Equifax
    • • TransUnion

    Do not rely on:

    • • Credit monitoring apps
    • • Credit Karma–style summaries
    • • Partial or simulated reports

Those often omit identity errors and disputes.

Step 2: Verify Your Personal Information Matches EXACTLY

Your information must match across all three bureaus character for character.

    Check:

    • • Full legal name (no nicknames, no abbreviations)
    • • Date of birth
    • • Current address
    • • Previous addresses (should not conflict or overlap incorrectly)

🚫 Common issues that cause failure:

    • • "Mike" vs. "Michael"
    • • Missing middle name or suffix
    • • Old addresses still marked as current
    • • Inconsistent formatting across bureaus

If your information does not match exactly, do not proceed until corrected.

Step 3: Review for Unresolved Negative Items

Authorized user tradelines do not override existing credit issues.

Before purchasing, confirm you do not have:

    • • Open disputes
    • • Fraud alerts
    • • Charge-offs
    • • Active collections tied to the issuing bank
    • • Account freezes that prevent reporting

If any of the above exist, posting may be delayed or blocked entirely.

Step 4: Confirm You Are Using a Valid Social Security Number

Only valid Social Security Numbers issued by the Social Security Administration are accepted.

🚫 The following are not accepted:

    • • CPNs (Credit Privacy Numbers)
    • • Synthetic identities
    • • Substitute or purchased SSNs
    • • Any fraudulent or misrepresented identification number

Use of invalid identification information will result in order cancellation and ineligibility for a refund.

    Step 5: Understand What Tradelines Can—and Cannot—Do

    Authorized user tradelines:

    • • Are temporary
    • • May not report to all three bureaus
    • • Do not guarantee any specific credit score outcome
    • • Do not replace responsible credit behavior

Results depend on your entire credit profile, not just the tradeline.

    Bottom Line

    If you have not:

    • Pulled all three credit reports
    • Verified exact name and address matching
    • Reviewed unresolved negative items
    • Confirmed use of a valid SSN

    Do not purchase yet.

Doing this first protects your outcome and avoids unnecessary issues.
